Xenics Gobi+ 640 Series
Small, high performance uncooled thermal camera
The Gobi+ 640 series is based on an uncooled amorphous silicon microbolometer detector with a 640 x 480 pixel resolution.
The Gobi+ 640, with detector Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD) of less than 55 mK, offers frame rates up to 50 Hz, whereas the Gobi+ 640 reaches frame rates of 60 Hz and detector NETD of less than 50 mK.
The low NETD provides highly accurate measures of temperature differences between the different pixels which is ideal for any thermal imaging application such as monitoring patient temperatures, tracking individuals at night or looking for overheating on operating electronics or machines.
The cameras come with a GigE type interface for easy connectivity for long cable lengths but an optional CameraLink interface is available for those applications that have already been designed around a frame grabber.
These camera are ideal for medical thermograpy as well as industrial inspection and security and surveillance applications.
