Xenics Dione CAM Series

Ultracompact, uncooled thermal imaging core with lens mount

The Dione CAM series is based on an uncooled 12 μm pitch microbolometer detector with a standard resolution 640×480 sensor or a high resolution 1280×1024 sensor. These CAM models have a Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD) of less than 60 mK.

The camera cores are optimized for low SWaP (Size, Weight and Power).
It utilizes the proprietary Xenics image enhancement methods while keeping power consumption low.

All Dione versions have a standard SAMTEC ST5 connector and are GenICam compliant. The Dione 640 CAM is available with a choice of lens mount configurations, either M24 or M34 while the Dione 1280 CAM offers either an M34 or an M45 type mount.

The ultra-compact Dione CAM series is optimal for security and surveillance systems, including Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) platforms, as well as for industrial inspection applications and medical thermal monitoring systems.

Xenics Dione S 640 CAM Series

Ultracompact, uncooled, Shuttered thermal imaging core

The Dione S 640 CAM Series Camera Cores are based on an uncooled 12 μm pitch microbolometer detector with standard resolution 640×480 sensor, but now have a physical shutter for offset calibration. The Cores have a Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD) of less than 60 mK.

The Cores are optimized for low SWaP (Size, Weight and Power). TheDione S 640 Cores are compact and they weigh 50-55 grams. They utilize the proprietary Xenics image enhancement methods while keeping power consumption low.

All Dione versions have the same SAMTEC ST5 connector and are GenICam compliant. The Dione S 640 Core has both M24 and M34 lens mounts options available.

The ultra-compact Dione OEM series is optimal for security and surveillance systems, as well as for industrial inspection applications and medical thermal monitoring systems.

The Dione OEM series is based on an uncooled 12 μm pitch microbolometer detector with standard resolution 640×480 sensor or a high resolution 1280×1024 sensor. The OEM core has a Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD) of less than 60 mK.

The cores are optimized for low SWaP (Size, Weight and Power). The overall size of the 640 OEM core is 25 x 25 x 10 mm and weight is 6 gr while the size of the 1280 OEM core is 35x35x23.5 mm and the weight is 27g. Both cores utilizes the proprietary Xenics image enhancement methods while keeping power consumption low.

All Dione versions have the same SAMTEC ST5 connector and are GenICam compliant. The Dione OEM Core does not come with any lens mount options.

The ultra-compact Dione OEM series is optimal for security and surveillance systems, as well as for OEM industrial and medical thermal monitoring systems.
