Xenics Dione CAM Series
Ultracompact, uncooled thermal imaging core with lens mount
The Dione CAM series is based on an uncooled 12 μm pitch microbolometer detector with sensors ranging from 320×256 up to a high resolution 1280×1024 sensor. These CAM models have a Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD) of less than 50mK with an option for <40 mK if needed.
The camera cores are optimized for low SWaP (Size, Weight and Power). All Dione versions have a standard SAMTEC ST5 connector and are GenICam compliant. This non-shuttered camera uses a proprietary method to establish a stable offset, while keeping power consumption low. This represents the smallest size camera available for integration into you imaging platforms.
The ultra-compact Dione CAM series is optimal for security and surveillance systems, including Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) platforms, as well as for industrial inspection applications and medical thermal monitoring systems.

Xenics Dione S CAM Series
Ultracompact, uncooled, Shuttered thermal imaging core
The Dione S CAM Series Camera Cores are based on an uncooled 12 μm pitch microbolometer detector, but now have a physical shutter for offset calibration. The Cores have two very low Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD) options of less than 50mK or less than 40mk
The Cores are optimized for low SWaP (Size, Weight and Power). TheDione S Cores are compact and are low in weight. They utilize the proprietary Xenics image enhancement methods while keeping power consumption low.
All Dione versions have the same SAMTEC ST5 connector and are GenICam compliant.
The ultra-compact Dione OEM series is optimal for security and surveillance systems, as well as for industrial inspection applications and medical thermal monitoring systems.
