Wildcat Family

Xenics Wildcat 640 Series

Small, high performance InGaAs camera with low noise and high dynamic range

The Wildcat 640 series is based on a custom, temperature stabilized InGaAs detector with a 640 x 512 pixel resolution.

The Wildcat 640 camera has a low readout noise for increased sensitivity. In addition, the larger 20 micron pixel, combined with the low noise readout provides a superior Signal to Noise ratio for most imaging applications in the SWIR. This translates into better quality images and better contrast between features in the image.

The camera is offered in two versions, one with a maximum frame rate of 110Hz and another with a higher frame rate of up to 220 Hz. The camera comes with a CameraLink or USB3 Vision interface and features low weight and power.

Xenics Wildcat+ 640 Series

Small, high performance InGaAs camera with ultra-low noise and high speed operation

The Wildcat+ 640 series is based on a next-generation, custom, temperature stabilized InGaAs detector with a 640 x 512 pixel resolution.

The Wildcat+ 640 camera has a lower readout noise for increased sensitivity. In addition, the larger 20 micron pixel, combined with the lower noise readout provides a superior Signal to Noise ratio for most imaging applications in the SWIR. This translates into better quality images and better contrast between features in the image. This is the best high sensitivity SWIR camera with large dynamic range.

The camera operates at 300Hz full frame and is offered in two versions, with a CameraLink or USB3 Vision interface.

Wildcat+ 640 TE0/WL Series

Compact, Lower Cost Wildcat

Wildcat+ 640 TE0 & WL

The Wildcat+ TE0 & WL series is based on a proprietary InGaAs detector with a 640×512 pixel resolution. These are your best options for a lower cost version of the Wildcat+ 640 camera.

The Wildcat+ 640 TE0 (no TEC) and WL (no TEC and No Window) were developed to provide lower cost, non-cooled operation modes. In addition, the WL version, without a sensor window, is being provided to reduce reflections in applications like laser beam profiling.
